Delighted to see the King’s Speech included a commitment to introduce a duty of candour for public servants. This is a tribute to the many bereaved and others who have campaigned for a Hillsborough Law over the years. Now to argue the wording!

The report from Module 1 was released this morning. While unsurprising it was still shocking to see in print the catastrophic failings of successive governments to plan for a pandemic . You have to wonder what else has the gov’t not planned for?
