Must agree. Surely there’s a better, fairer, more accurate, non-partisan and non-speculative way to render this response that would convey what actually occurred.

Yes, these are chyrons (short and pithy) but not sure “veers off topic” and “gives incoherent answer” really captures his comments about childcare.

Seems as if one of three things is true here: 1. The purported video recording exists and shows what the campaign has said it shows (in which case, why not release it?).  2. It exists and *doesn’t* show what it has claimed.  3. It doesn’t exist, and they’ve lied about it.

So many people post indignantly that they’ve cancelled their subscription to the New York Times over some perceived outrage that I imagine they re-subscribe just so they can indignantly announce that they’ve cancelled again.
