Today we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Food for Peace program. We applaud longstanding US leadership in the fight to end global hunger and malnutrition, and urge Congress to fully fund USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance so that we can continue to build resilient, flourishing communities.

Without proper nutrition, children perform less well in school and are more likely to get sick or die from illnesses. We partner with communities to build the #nutrition resilience necessary for whole families to thrive. We urge an early and strong #N4GParis pledge at #UNGA79

On #WorldHumanitarianDay, Food for the Hungry honors those risking their lives to deliver aid in the most challenging circumstances and remembers the humanitarian workers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Together, let’s #ActForHumanity
