Responses by Black Americans show less of a generational divide, with a rising fraction of Black respondents saying 'Israelis' as we move to older age groups.

At the same time the prime age employment rate is rising again and remains above pre-COVID. This had not been the pattern for the last few recessions.

Last month saw the first real slowdown in public-sector employment growth since 2022, with state, local, and federal governments only adding only 8k jobs

Still, the public sector has added more than 600k jobs since last year and remains nearly 1/2M above pre-COVID job levels
