Sports Day has arrived! Good luck to all taking part!

Today is the last day of the academic year! We hope our families have a wonderful summer, our return to school dates are in The Dixonian from 12pm! Congratulations to 7.6, 8.6, 9.2 and 10.2 and to Year 8 for accumulating the most points overall during Sports Day!

Summer Camp Day 1: The GDA Way. We've been to space, got to know each other, worked together and prepared for the next school year... all before lunch (which we also can't wait for!)

Summer Camp Day 2: Community. We've played football, archery, problem solved, helped to tidy our school environment and learnt how to save lives... all before lunch (which we also can't wait for...again!)

Summer Camp came to an end yesterday. Inflatables, quizzes, table tennis and football were enjoyed by all. A MASSIVE thank you yet again to our catering team, the food has been INCREDIBLE as usual :)

We hope our pupils and families have had a wonderful summer, we can't wait to see you all throughout the week. Please take note of our return to school dates! :)

It's Year 7 Induction Day today! We are so excited to see you and show you around your new school! :)

Welcome back to all year groups today! We have a new school day structure, we have bells, lots of exciting change!

It's 'My Year Ahead Day'! Pupils and their families will meet form tutors from 8:30-13:00 for a 10min meeting to discuss our systems and procedures. Further support and extra-curricular workshops will also be taking place with food available in the canteen! :)

Our first full week of the academic year and our first extra curricular club! School Work and Games Club will take place after school in the LRC on Mondays, get your consent letter from Miss Dewell (in the LRC!)

Sanitary products are available across the school for girls to access. Please don't be embarrassed to ask! 😊

Mrs Buckingham has a brilliant careers programme for our pupils this year, she is also available to see you before school, at break and lunchtimes as well as some after school sessions!

The new extra-curricular timetable has been finalised and will be released in the next Dixonian newsletter on Friday at 12pm! There is something for everyone!
