1st rotation intern yr was Peds on the Red Team (Onc Team). Was assigned call the 1st weekend & I definitely thought I wouldn't survive. 10+ yrs later I'm still standing. It was bc I had amazing seniors and attendings that believed in me. Interns...you've got this. #teamwork

Still paying off loans from my later in life MPH. Love the adult learning, but not sure I want to spend $70k on another degree. How "smiled upon" are certificate programs versus the higher level degrees? Are employers impressed with "Leadership Certificates" or is it big no?

Telling me that seeing 4 patients per hour 20 years ago, making house calls and taking call 24/7 and that it was "no big deal, why can't you do the same" is showing me how toxic the medical culture remains and that you've been sleeping under a damn rock.

It's been nearly 6 mos since my Dad passed. It's our 1st Xmas w/o him. I could see the emptiness in my Mom's eyes, but folks she did something she hasn't done in a long time...self care. She was jogging in place. I squealed! Couldn't be more proud of her, 74 years young.
