Changing the world, together, through sport. The GSUN Leadership Council met today at Nike WHQ in Beaverton, Oregon. Then, the incredible Wilson Smith III, legendary shoe designer & University of Oregon alum, gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of the beautiful campus. The future is bright!

Last night we celebrated the inaugural gathering of the Global Sport University Network with a delicious meal at Antiquum Farm in Junction City, OR. It was the perfect way for University of Oregon leadership and members of our Leadership Council to kick off the Summit, which starts today!

Day 1 of our 2024 Summit is underway! University of Oregon President Karl Scholz welcomes attendees to Eugene and the Knight Campus as we kick off two days of interactive sessions, conversations, learning, and networking.
The Female Athlete Keynote, presented by the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance, featured Kathryn Ackerman and Jennifer Langton. Both speakers shared institutional insights and personal experiences, and answered questions as part of a panel moderated by UO Journalism & Comm alum John Strong.

After a full and productive day at #GSUNsummit24, it's happy hour at the Fermentation Innovation Lab at the Knight Campus! The Lab leverages science & engineering, history, innovation & storytelling, and takes inspiration from 13,000 years of human advancement in brewing.
Attendees at #GSUNsummit24 concluded their first day with a tour of Autzen Stadium, the home of Oregon Football. The night wrapped up with a dinner of culinary offerings all sourced from the Pacific Northwest. Day 1 ✅
