THIS IS HUGE! Researchers at Northwestern Medicine and Brigham and Women’s Hospital have discovered a molecular defect that promotes the pathologic immune response in Lupus and show that reversing this defect may potentially reverse the disease! Let’s talk about that! 🧵⬇️

An FY2 would start on £42,000 with the new pay deal. Thats over a year of being a doctor, and with the new pay rise for the rest of the NHS the physician associate will start on £46,000. On day 1. If you vote to accept this deal, you’re telling the government that that’s ok.

Great that resident doctor pay negotiations have started. But with the current proposal: Doctor starting salary: £36,000 PA starting salary: £46,000 NO doctor should be paid less than their assistant! It makes no sense whatsoever & is an insult.

I'm too exhausted to elaborate on this today, but here's an updated CovSpectrum graph of the ∆69-70/H69,V70 pendulum swing, complete with the major variant in each wave. This bizarre alternation remains a deep mystery, at least as far as I know. 1/3

And a 🧵 from 2022, when the ∆69-70 pendulum first began to look real to me. But patterns can be illusory. As Feynman said, "The first rule is you must not fool yourself—and you are the easiest person to fool." Historical examples can be helpful. 3/3 x.com/LongDesertTrai…
