An FY2 would start on £42,000 with the new pay deal. Thats over a year of being a doctor, and with the new pay rise for the rest of the NHS the physician associate will start on £46,000. On day 1. If you vote to accept this deal, you’re telling the government that that’s ok.

Great that resident doctor pay negotiations have started. But with the current proposal: Doctor starting salary: £36,000 PA starting salary: £46,000 NO doctor should be paid less than their assistant! It makes no sense whatsoever & is an insult.
