Some of you may have noticed the proliferation of baby oak trees near the main entrance from Shutlock Lane. These have grown from acorns buried by the jays that frequent the park. I think there could be a forest springing up in years to come.😀

Join us on 16th June as we tackle the Himalayan Balsam at Highbury CHT and Highbury Park Friends join forces starting at Highbury's highest point. Himalayan balsam is an invasive plant species that takes over native habitats, outgrowing native plants and reducing biodiversity.
