I usually work from coworking spaces on Fridays, and I’ve been really enjoying ⁦CREW⁩ recently 👌

Another @levelsio after-take… There’s not just solo devs and large scale teams. Lots of start ups choose processes and tools that are suited to large teams. You need to be scrappy at the start by moving fast and breaking things!

But what if I enjoy writing the code?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but “glue things together” is the majority of software development today. Ask yourself… How many unique solutions to novel problems have you made? How many dependencies are in your projects?

First RevenueCat #ShipATon update in 3 days... I've realised that working full time, having 2 kids under 3, and working on this 2-3 hours at night, means I need to take 2 evenings off. Day 12 + 13 - watched Oppenheimer. Great movie!

Day 14 RevenueCat #ShipATon This evening I created a playback timer ⏳ Thought this would be just adding a 'Timer()', but ended up going deep clipping and looping tracks, and manipulating metadata 🪄 And continuous playback ∞, well that's a bit of a hack, but it works 😄

Day 15 ⁦RevenueCat⁩ #ShipATon Change the volume or brightness from the player, and see those changes reflected in the UI, even if not initiated by the app (note: brightness changes are not observable in the recording)

Day 16 RevenueCat #ShipATon Running on low brainpower tonight, so I tackled some admin tasks (minimal thinking required) 😴 - verified G Play account - renewed App Store Connect - migrated project to use Flutter Wrapper

A few days since my last #BuildInPublic #ShipATon update - brought Cameron McNab on board to make this thing look good ✨ - bought a library of sound fx to up the audio game 🔉 - uploaded first version to G Play & Test Flight (not ready, just a test run)
