Arsenal summer transfer window overall positive with Califiori, Merino and Sterling. Squad tightened and trimmed down. But huge reliance on Martin Odegaard staying fit and feel there isn’t a natural option if he’s out for a period of time. #AFC

On the Rice incident, ball rolling, defender not in a position to restart the game, surely the law doesn’t allow for that? For me, this could be a precedent set now, and players, who are becoming very savvy to rule changes (like Veltman), will try this game in game out.

Football can be a strange beast. Imagine showing this video to someone with zero interest in the sport and explaining that the bloke in red is the one who was punished

Is there a difference in this incident and the one involving Declan Rice and Joel Veltman? Is the perception different? If so why? Genuinely intrigued to know people’s opinions
