PS5 controllers have seemingly raised in price by $5. I hate to say it, but this probably isn't a good sign for the PS5 Pro. I hope im wrong, but we could be looking at the most expensive PlayStation console ever made with the disc drive included

PS5 Pro is $699, and that's without the disc drive 😐

I feared the PS5 Pro would be $600, meaning that it would be around $700 with a disc drive. Sony somehow managed to make it $700 and $800 instead. I know the Pro market is niche, but now it just got EXTRA NICHE

If anything, Nintendo has a great opportunity to come in and steal some thunder with a Switch 2 announcement if they ever want to do such a thing. Im sure it will be a lot more enticing than a $700 digital console
