It is called a "pocket" or "bag" filter. Most of them are very good filters. High efficiency and lots of media area so low resistance. In the US they are used in buildings with well-engineered HVAC systems like hospitals. Unfortunately, they cannot be used in most systems.

Jim Rosenthal I think a big advantage of these projects is that teachers and administrators are hopefully learning about the need for clean air and Covid protections as well.

Another version of the Mini #corsirosenthalbox uses PC Fans, It is quiet, low energy usage and is powerful enough for a bedroom or dorm room.
