A number of challenges facing 🇬🇧 farmers at the moment, but meeting so many dedicated people at #NFU24 makes me confident that we have a positive future 💪🏼 Great to listen to such inspiring speakers too Jack Bobo, Nigel Owens MBE and of course minette batters 😎

Interesting from new Defra UK SoS Steve Reed MP this morning - The Labour Party’s manifesto mention of ‘food security as national security’ formalised as a ‘core priority’ of his department. Many cross-departmental discussions to make that a reality. But a positive start.
