Hate is not patriotic. Hate is not British. Hate is cowardly, deplorable and wrong. Criminality, especially in the name of hate, must face the full force of the law. Our diversity is our strength. No racist can ever change that.

The diversity of London & the UK is it's strength. I've been so humbled to see the outpouring of love from communities for their Muslim & immigrant neighbours, not least from the Jewish community. Hatred & division will never win over hope, compassion and unity. 👇🏾

🕌Tonight, I joined members of #Eastbourne Mosque & Sussex Police officer Fareed to show solidarity against the scourge of hate. Everyone has the right to feel safe in their home, community and place of worship. 🕊️ Eastbourne says NO to hate crime and YES to unity and peace.
