I’ve had people on social media to professors tell me “you talk about Sikhs too much” The hell? When a Stanford study found 70% of Americans can’t identify a picture of a Sikh as a Sikh & you’re sayin I talk too much about Sikhs? I’m just gonna do it more.

Tonight is not about the Prime Minister. It's about every young person mocked for the colour of their skin. The child who had their turban ripped off their head. And those reliving intense feelings of pain & hurt from past experiences of racism. To you, I say you are loved.

I think it’s critical to keep bringing up past accomplishments & current success of Sikhs. it can show the young Sikh boy or girl, that they do not need to run from who they are, to be successful. We have to keep reminding each other, that our Sikhi is an asset not a liability

People are so afraid of the unknown, that instead of pursuing the answer... they become fearful & that fear leads to hate & that hate makes their heart go cold. This idea of otherizing fellow Americans is wrong. Sikhs literally wear their faith visibly, like just come up & ask

Why I love “Discipline is Freedom?” Because it means consistent behavior, practice, repetition. And ultimately, Progress. Jocko Willink is likely more consistent than you are at taking care of what needs to be cared for. And it’s not just his body.

Why is the weight of burden for Bill 21 put on Jagmeet Singh’s back when it is Blanchet that is not only supporting the bill, but is shaming any opposition to it? (I know the reason why, I just want y’all to acknowledge it.) #elxn43 #leadersdebate2019

Regardless of your political views, whether you like Jagmeet Singh or not the position Jagmeet is in, is legit the most powerful position a practicing Sikh has reached. Seeing Jagmeet rise despite all odds stacked against him is the story of a fighter. #elxn43 #jagmeetsingh

35 years ago, in November 1984, the Indian Government carried out the #SikhGenocide Sikh men had tires placed on their necks & were set on fire Women faced unthinkable sexual violence 35 years later & we have not received the justice we deserve The fight for justice continues

Trainers spend endless time online arguing about different periodization schemes, unilateral vs bilateral, etc. Meanwhile, I’m in a hotel gym and there are 11 people doing mindless cardio, and not one single person lifting weights. I think we are fighting the wrong battles.

Research shows that sustainable progress, in everything from diet to fitness to creativity, isn’t about being consistently great; it’s about being great at being consistent. It’s about being good enough over and over again. thegrowtheq.com/its-okay-to-be…
