My #KampalaGarbageExhibition soln. We borrow a leaf from Luanda, clean our areas once a week. It's called #Umuganda. Sort into biodegradable, recyclable, and non-recyclable categories to prioritize disposal of the organic waste to Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) bins for a #KampalaSmartCityExhibition

For proper waste management, we have installed waste storage containers (skip containers and street litter bins) across the city. We implore the public to ENSURE that all garbage is disposed of in these designated places #ForABetterCity.

.Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) is clearing the waste backlog from public spaces & communities. It is a 24hrs operation that has been enabled by garbage collection partners and the interim hosts Mukono Municipal Council with the landfill at Katikolo.

We are acquiring more garbage containers (skips and bins) for placement around the city Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) to boost our collection capacity. While Government of Uganda is committed to ensuring that this is achieved, we all have a role to play; 1. Avoid indiscriminate dumping and littering the city.
