Teacher’s Day was celebrated on Sep 5. The event honored 70 years of public-private partnership, and felicitated MS of Wenlock and Lady Goschen Hospitals, Dr. Jacintha D' Souza and Dr. Durgaprasad M. R., along with faculty members. Chief Guest was Mr. Saghir Siddiqui.

The 68th Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations at KMC Mangalore began with the Sthapana Pooja on Sep 7. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Pro Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dr. H. S. Ballal and Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh.

The Ranga Pooja, procession, and Visarjan marked the culmination of the 68th Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations on Sep 8. The festivities concluded with devotion and grandeur as students, faculty, and staff participated in the colorful procession and bid farewell to Lord Ganesha.

The Department of Medicine at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, is set to host SEPSIMED 2024 on September 20th at the Marena Sports Complex, Kaprigudda, Mangalore. This event will focus on the latest advancements and research in the field of sepsis management.
