16 years ago, Russia launched its unjustified military aggression against Georgia. Illegal occupation and human rights violations still continue. Estonia firmly stands for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Visited a combat shooting exercise of Estonian Defence Forces | Eesti Kaitsevägi today. I was glad to see motivated and skillful soldiers. They are the true cornerstone of our defence readiness. Estonia remains committed to investing in weapons, ammunition, and training areas to ensure our people's security.

Today we remember the victims of communism and nazism. Unfortunately, this is not merely a historical reminder, as Russia has brought war crimes and atrocities back to Europe. This is why we have to strengthen our defence readiness and continue the steadfast support to Ukraine.

Happy to meet so many business leaders at today’s annual AmCham Estonia luncheon. My main message was that although increasing certainty is expensive, uncertainty is even more costly. Knowing that we are independent and well protected is crucial for Estonia to grow and
