Is DC perfect? No. But do I spend 1/10th the amount of time in my car than I did in Austin? 100% I basically walk, bike, or metro everywhere. I can go days without getting in the car. It’s life changing!

While many of us are laughing at how genuinely deranged Trump sounds tonight (and boy does he) I just cannot shake the deeply unsettling feeling of knowing that nearly half of our country thinks he is fit to do *any* job let alone run this country.

NYT tomorrow: “Trump claims people are eating pets and aborting babies after they are born. Harris takes alternative position on fracking. Who can the American people really trust?”

Harris embodies every well-prepared, educated woman who has had to deal with the buffoonery of a man in a professional setting that has absolutely no idea what he is talking about.

I’ve now seen this take from multiple many media outlets. Not “Trump is a bumbling, unqualified candidate with no actual policy plans” but rather “The woman baited him into veering off his coherent campaign messages!” I am so sick of this.

Everybody needs a group of friends who will get *deeply* invested in your own neighborhood drama even though they live thousands of miles away
