Kamuzu University of Health Sciences on August 2, 2024 officially launched a new academic degree programme in Occupational Therapy. The Programme is a science-based health profession that is client-centred and focuses on promoting health and well-being through occupations.

The State President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera on August 7, 2024 officially launched the Clinical Research Excellent and Training Open Resource (CREATOR) building at Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Programme.
