Flowing a decamp of a car PD Tyco arrives to assist. He soon picks up a track which leads him to the suspect hiding in trees. Suspect says he’ll come out however he decides to try one last time to evade arrest and runs. He didn’t get very far. PD Trev then locates his drugs 👌🏼

Well what a miserable day to start July. Our pin up boy Aston is hopefully putting a smile on your face ☺️ Aston completed his course and is trained to find drugs, cash & firearms He’s yet to be paired with a handler so is still enjoying life with his fantastic puppy walker.

Preston Taskforce stopped a suspicious looking vehicle leading to two arrested for drug and money laundering offences. This led to a house search where PD Buddy was asked to assist. He made light work of locating approximately £20000 cash well hidden under the bath! 👌

Colleagues were effecting the arrest of a violent male when he punched one in the face allowing him to escape. PD Buzz lands and began the search. It didn’t take long for Buzz to take his handler into the woods where he eventually located the male hiding in nettles #CellForOne

A few weeks ago PD Henry and PD Nigel had a working trip over to the Isle of Man Police to help them out searching various locations for a high profile visit. During their downtime they paid a visit to the Laxey Wheel. #dogsontour

On Sunday evening a 🚗 failed to stop for our traffic 🚓 @lancsroadpolice PD Ebony and lead holder were close by and after the driver 🏃🏻 off after abandoning the 🚗 there was only going to be one winner! 🏃‍♂️ located and arrested. #trustthenose #4legsthan2

PD Rufus enjoyed his first shift back after annual leave. A vehicle failed to stop for his handler which led to a pursuit. Driver made attempts to ram the police vehicle before embedding in street furniture. He then thought he could win the foot race against PD Rufus.

You may have seen an increased Police Presence around the Asda area in Fulwood on Monday afternoon. This was after a 🚗 failed to stop for our firearms officers. The driver ran off and was lost. PD Ebony arrived and within 2 1/2 mins he was located hiding.#trustthenose #teamwork

Welcome aboard to our latest Trainee Police Dog. At 14 weeks old he is learning and gaining the foundations required to hopefully see him become a fully licensed Police Dog . Can you guess his name given the huge clues in the photo 😉

PD Tommy has left the building and collected his ‘R’ as he runs into retirement. Tommy licensed in 2019 with us and his then Isle of Man handler. He worked on the Island until 2022 before returning to us and licensing with his new handler. For the last time ‘Rock on Tommy’

Police were called to a report of a violent male with knife who ran off prior to Police arrival PD Blitz lands to search and soon finds the male hiding in bushes. He was non-compliant and swiftly detained by PD Blitz. James Beeston 35, has been charged and remanded.
