Two rejections in the Inbox this morning. It’s been raining non-stop since Wednesday. I’m reading one of my comp titles and it’s so much better than my book I want to scream. So how’s your day going?

Reading my comp title I realize literary fiction has flash-forwards, whereas my sad attempt at genre fiction does not.🙁

Saw a sign on the front desk at the gym today, notifying members that the facility will be closed “tommorrow.” Later in the day, read a front-page article in the local paper (NOLA.com) in which the reporter had buried the lede in the 8th graf! What is happening?!

Well, the power’s out. If it’s not working soon I may have to figure out how to operate a gas generator.😬 In the meantime I’m at the local coffee shop, charging devices. #StCoffee
