Today marks 63 weeks--441 days--since my friend and The Wall Street Journal colleague Evan Gershkovich was wrongfully detained in Russia. Friends, family and colleagues of Evan stood with him in a different way last weekend: doing what he loves and grilling burgers. #IStandWithEvan
Last week, The Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich appeared in a Russian court for the start of a sham trial, his head shaved on order of prison authorities. I’m shaving mine in solidarity. Evan is a journalist and journalism is not a crime. #IStandwithEvan
