The Australian golf community came together to raise funds for bushfire relief at the Premiers Cup over the long weekend. And thanks to the participants, over $500,000 was raised to help those affected!

The ninth hole at Metropolitan Golf Club is a long par-4 with a sharp dogleg right. Most play down to the corner with the perfect shot to fade around the corner. This is the most beautifully contoured and shaped green on the golf course. 📸: Gary Lisbon #MelbourneSandbelt

Aussie Adventure, Round 3: Victoria Golf Club This venerable sandbelt classic, influenced by the great Alister MacKenzie in 1928, recently received a facelift via restored greens newly seeded with Pure Distinction grass and new fairway irrigation. Truly a treat to play.

Many experts point to the 15th as one of the finest holes at Victoria Golf Club and yet another of the #MelbourneSandbelt's wonderful, short par-4s. The smart play is well to the right and level with the first bunker. From there, it is just a short iron and maybe a putt for birdie.

The superb greens and bunkers are the highlight at YarraYarra Golf Club and as good as many of Dr Alister MacKenzie’s own creations. Typically large, fast and undulating, the greens feature some of the most extreme slopes in Melbourne. 📸: Gary Lisbon #MelbourneSandbelt
