God is jealous- it is His name, according to Exodus 34. We scatter worship on objects and people like it does not matter. Beware of giving what’s His to earthly things. Worship matters. #WhyWorship

Worship is quantified and quarantined to One: He alone. #WhyWorship

Neuropsychology has shown that impairment on the right side of the brain decreases focus on one’s self and have heightened spiritual experiences. That is a perfect example: decrease focus on self, increased immersion in Him. Worship, in other words. #WhyWorship

Your life. My life. It worships. Taking a careful look at yourself will identify what, how, when, and to what degree you worship. A careful examination of time is the first place to start. #WhyWorship

One of the most remarkable things of true worship is that it has to be done in “the beauty of holiness.” Holiness is implicit and explicit in all aspects of your walk with God- a display to the outward world and the worship of inner man. Both will be made visible! #Why

It is explicit: we must handle God’s loves and His hates with the same vehemence. Neither eliminates the other, and shouldn’t be a brokering point of others in our lives. We despise murder, a lying tongue, and feet that do mischief AND love the brotherhood. At the same time.

If the Bible comforts you but never confronts you, you aren’t reading it right.

External holiness is just as incumbent on men as it is women. Choices matter. Principles MUST be given practices or they aren’t principles AT ALL. You are a stranger, a pilgrim. Easily identified. Walk in that. #Why

Holiness. It’s a four letter word in the world especially when its principles are placed into real life. Sadly, it’s the same within much of the church world, too. But without it, no man will see God. God wants definition, not assimilation. #WhyDoesGodCareWhatWeWear

Get into a church that gets into the Word.

When Paul spoke of “coming out from among them,” it was mental, spiritual, speech and most of the impact was on the visual aspect- “Look at them. Don’t do what they do, don’t wear what they wear, and don’t talk, act and be as they are (paraphrasing).” #WhyDoesGodCare

The world you came out of is deeply engaged in keeping your identity: the vast amounts of money spent on cosmetics, on cosmetic surgeries, on non surgical cosmetic procedures alone shout that truth. It is unbelievable that we fall for the lie that those things are. #Why

Unless there is distinct identity in action, thought, and dress, there is no identity except the one that the world owns and propagates. You are not one of them: He bought you with a price!
