The latest episode of Three Castles Burning explores the great Jack B. Yeats and his Olympic triumph. A young Lucian Freud recalled watching him walk around the city, but it's the recollections of his friend Terence de Vere White that really bring colour to the story.

Hello from rehearsals 👋 It's week 1 of rehearsals for The House by Tom Murphy, a tense drama of desire, belonging and possession set in 1950s Ireland. Directed by Garry Hynes, the cast of 11 includes Druid Ensemble members Marie Mullen and Marty Rea.

Eric Ravilious was killed in action #OTD in 1942 after the aircraft he went up in during a search & rescue mission off Iceland failed to return. From the countryside to war, his depiction of Britain in the 30s & early years of #WW2 are an incredible legacy, one which lives on.
