New call opening within the Joint Baltic-Nordic Energy Research Programme. 📢 The #call will be #open for applications on 17 January 2024. By launching a new call for applications, NordicEnergyResearch and the Ministry of Energy 🇱🇹 hope to fund three projects for up to two years.

On March 4–8, a meeting of the Board of Governors of the #IAEA was held in 🇦🇹, during which the 🇱🇹 delegation expressed its support for Ukraine’s struggle against the Russian occupation and the threats posed by the presence of Russian forces at the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.

🇱🇹 Yesterday, Lithuania celebrated its Independence Day with an added milestone in energy independence. On the 11th of March, Lithuania produced more electricity than it consumed. The majority of this electricity was generated by RES, particularly wind and solar power. 🌬☀️
