Marvels newest superhero? None other than Welshpool itself! Wonderful to see Welshpool get such an opportunity.

This Thursday myself and Montgomeryshire and Glyndŵr Labour will have a stall at the Guilsfield show. I look forward to meeting everyone in the community and enjoying all the show has to offer.

Labour councillor Ben Gwalchmai has secured for Welshpool free wifi across the towns streets. When one in five households in Welshpool do not have regular internet access this move will help bridge the digital divide and reduce data-poverty across the town. Bendigedig Ben!

We are at Guilsfield Show today so please drop in just like our new MP Steve Witherden MP did this morning. He had the chance first hand to hear how the club has grown in recent years. Hope to see you down the #LHGOval soon for a game!

I’m honoured that my first event as your MP is the Guilsfield show. A wonderful event that showcases the best of what Montgomeryshire has to offer.

It gave me great pleasure to speak with members of Guilsfield and Llandrinio Cricket Club today. Such a wonderful grassroots group, run by people who adore their community and that really came across when we were speaking.

Sure all will join me in expressing support for the police/fire service/coastguard, at the R.Severn in Welshpool, in their current search for a missing person. While all are concerned, we must refrain from visiting the site/allow the professionals the space needed to operate in.

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending the Montgomery show. A wonderful event with equally wonderful weather.

At Montgomery show with mayor Rob Harper and county councillor Jeremy Brignell-Thorp. A special shout-out to the organisers for a brilliant show and for the exemplary organisation of the refuse, the best I've ever seen at a festival or show.

In addition to the Montgomery show I attended the El Sueno Festival in Machynlleth on Saturday. The brilliant festival celebrates a wealth of culture from Latin America and was originally founded in honour of Chilean Victor Jara, who was murdered by forces of Pinochet.

🚨BREAKING!🚨 Today the Department for Transport and ASLEF agreed a deal to recommend to members and end the strikes. We promised we’d move fast and fix things and that is what we’ve done.
