The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has paid a visit to the Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum, one of the two British museums that lent back a few looted Asante artifacts in their possession and on display in their galleries in the United Kingdom (UK).

Archaeologist Zahi Hawass has launched a petition for the return to Egypt of the pharaonic bust of Queen Nefertiti from the Neues Museum. The famous limestone bust was uncovered in Cairo in 1912 by a German archaeological mission, which shipped it to Berlin the following year.
