May brings us #nationalwalkingmonth - an amazing time of year to enjoy nature and our beautiful county's walks. Bluebells are a joy to see when out exploring at the moment, such as these ones at Lower Wood, Ashwellthorpe, nestled beside the #KettsCountryTrail

An emergency footpath closure is in place along Brancaster Footpath 5 after an inspection revealed boardwalk deterioration requiring immediate repair. A diversion is in place and work is expected to be complete mid-July ahead of the school holidays.

After the devastating fire in #Stiffkey this week, remember the #CountrysideCode: don't light fires in the countryside (incl. BBQs) and take litter home - glass bottles are dangerous if left in sunny areas. Follow Forestry Commission's advice if you find a wildfire 👇 #BeWildfireAware

Following the recent fires in Norfolk, please avoid the #NorfolkCoastPath at Brancaster and the circular walk at Snettisham until they have been marked as safe. The fire has gone over the Coast Path at Brancaster - damage will be assessed when it is safe to do so.
