An emergency footpath closure is in place along Brancaster Footpath 5 after an inspection revealed boardwalk deterioration requiring immediate repair. A diversion is in place and work is expected to be complete mid-July ahead of the school holidays.

Following the recent fires in Norfolk, please avoid the #NorfolkCoastPath at Brancaster and the circular walk at Snettisham until they have been marked as safe. The fire has gone over the Coast Path at Brancaster - damage will be assessed when it is safe to do so.

Boardwalk replacement work starts this week on the #NorfolkCoastPath along Holme Footpaths 1 and 13. A diversion is already in place and work is expected to take up to seven weeks to complete, weather permitting. #Norfolk #CoastPath #NorfolkAONB
