One of the most interesting presentation additions to EA SPORTS NHL 25 is the grudge match. This will appear in online (HUT,EASHL) and offline modes and show your prior matchup stats as well as give certain players x-factor abilities for that game based on prior performances.

Our first look at the grudge match pre game cinematic. One thing to note, if you don’t have commentary on you will NOT hear the commentary during it. However the cinematic will still play.

I will hazard a guess that next season the Sharks will have more than one player inside the top 150 🤣 Its been a long few years.

So how we feeling about Franchise mode? Not bad IMO, I also think all of the data driven stuff is 100% necessary to have been added if they were to ever bring back GM Connected.
