Yesterday, a big number of us had the privilege of celebrating and honoring a great man, President Yoweri K Museveni as he turned 80. It was above all, a day of giving thanks to the GOD who holds all our lives in His hand, and who has kept Mzee for us all these years. GOD is great!

This museum exhibition is illuminating and reminds us where we are coming from as a nation. When we know our history, we understand and appreciate the journey we are on better.

As we joined together to celebrate the remarkable 80 years of Mzee and to give thanks for his life, it was also a time to reflect on the journey we've shared, especially during our 50 years of marriage, during which he has been a source of wisdom and resilience.

We are grateful for the heartfelt messages from our children and the people of Uganda, which demonstrate their admiration and appreciation for him. We are humbled by the outpouring of support and love.
