R2ME GW1: Wellingborough v Lutterworth: Wellingborough RFC won 3 successive games with a try BP to finish the last season but have not beaten their visitors since 2017. Lutterworth RFC had a superb 2023-24 season narrowly missing out on promotion having won 10 of their 11 matches on the road

R2ME GW1: Olney v Peterborough: Olney RFC will be hoping to begin the season the way they finished the last one when they won 5 of their last 6 matches including one over their visitors. Peterborough Rugby have won on 4 of their previous 6 visits to this ground but were beaten last time here

R2ME GW1: Oadby Wyggs v Kettering: 6 of Oadby Wyggs RFC's 7 wins last season came on their own pitch but they’ve beaten their hosts just once previously. Kettering RFC won 5 of their away games in 23-24 including a try BP victory on their last visit here on their way to 5th place

R2ME GW1: Daventry v Leicester Forest: Daventry RFC secured promotion last season with a phenomenal record of 21 wins from 22 games and are unbeaten at home since April 2022! Leicester Forest RFC flew out of the traps after their own promotion to this league last season with 3 straight wins

R2MN GW1: West Bridgford v Walsall: West Bridgford RFC had a great second half of the campaign in 2023-24 winning 11 of the final 13 games so will be hoping to start well this time. 7 of Walsall Rugby Club's 12 wins came on the road last season, 1 of which was here in their last league visit

R2MN GW1: Tamworth v Dronfield: 1st league meeting! TRUFC looked set to challenge at the top after an 8 game winning streak but 4 defeats to end the season ended their hopes. Dronfield Rugby Club have been level transferred from R2NE & won 4 of their 11 away games in 2023-24

R2MN GW1: Old Saltleians v Lichfield: 1st league meeting since 2009-10! Old Saltleians RFC secured 10 BP wins from their 11 home games on their way to promotion last season. Lichfield Rugby Club had a strong campaign in 2023-24 finishing runners-up but 2 of their 3 defeats came on the road

R2MN GW1: Newark v Matlock: Of Newark Rugby Club's 11 wins last season 7 of them came on their own pitch and they also beat their visitors in both of the fixtures in 2023-24. Matlock will be looking to end a 3 match losing streak at this ground having not won here since 2019

R2ME GW1: Northampton Old Scouts v Market Harborough: Battle between 2 of this divisions top sides last season. Northampton Old Scouts RFC lost just once at home all campaign on their way to 4th whilst MHRUFC lost just once on the road and finished 3rd. 1 drawn & a win for MH in last years games

R2MN GW1: Melbourne v Paviors: Melbourne RFC finished last season in great form unbeaten in their final 6 matches on their way to a creditable 4th place finish. Paviors RFC were 1 of only 2 sides to beat their hosts here last season and indeed have won all 4 previous meetings

R2MN GW1: Ilkeston v Mellish: Ilkeston Rugby Club lost just twice on their own pitch all season in 2023-24 on the way to promotion and are on a 5 match winning streak at home. Mellish RFC's propensity to pick up BPs was the key to survival last yr & they won on their last visit here

R2MW GW1: Whitchurch v Edwardians: After a season away in Regional 2 NW Whitchurch Rugby Club are level transferred back to Mids West. They're on a 5 match winning streak at home and welcome Edwardian FC who have been promoted after a fantastic season in which they won 21 of their 22 games

R2MW GW1: Stratford upon Avon v Ledbury: Last met in 2006-07 season. Stratford upon Avon RFC have won all 8 previous meetings between these teams & will be hoping to extend that record. Newcomers Ledbury Rugby Football Club had a great season in 2023-24 gaining promotion but 4 of their 5 defeats came away

R2MW GW1: Shipston on Stour v Hereford: 7 of Shipston Rugby's 9 victories last season came on their own pitch & they’ll be looking to their home form again this season. Hereford won 4 successive games to end the last campaign & have won all 4 previous meetings between the sides

R2MW GW1: Old Halesonians v Cheltenham: 1st league meeting! Old Halesonians RFC return to the league they won the last time they were in it & their best rugby in 2023-24 was played at home. Cheltenham RFC finished a creditable 4th last term but 6 of their 7 losses did come on the road

R2MW GW1: Newent v Moseley Oak: Newent Rugby Club had an exceptional start to the previous campaign winning 10 in a row and will be hoping to start this season in a similar vein. By contrast Moseley Oak had a great ending to the previous season unbeaten in 6 of their last 7 games

R2MW GW1: Malvern v Ludlow: Malvern RFC 🏉 will be looking for better home form having won just 3 of the games on their own pitch last season whilst Ludlow Rugby Club will be hoping to transform their fortunes away from home after winning just 3 of their matches on the road in 2023-24
