warmer weather is here! come hang out in the sun and do some jail support! as the weather gets warmer we’re transitioning to getting more warm weather supplies like sunscreen and hydrating drink mixes

Due to excessive heat and Multnomah County, OR state of emergency, TriMet won't turn away anyone riding to/from a cooling center who cannot pay fare between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily, today through Monday, July 8. Please tell your bus operator that you're heading to/from a cooling center.

Cooling centers are open now. These are buildings open to the public that provide air conditioning and a place to cool off during high heat. Call 2-1-1 or check MultCo.us/Hot for the latest. Information may change.

we’re down at MCDC today on 3rd and madison and folks donated some hydration drink packets and gatorade! we also have sunscreen and cooling scarves :) if you’re interested in doing some heatwave jail support and want a buddy or supplies message us here or on IG @ pdx_jailsupport!

A sweaty 🥵 update: Thanks to a kind and generous community, we have raised $11,442.17 (CA 3107.99 & Venmo 8334.18) With those funds we were able to get 41 humans (including BIPOC, disabled, elderly, pregnant, children), 14 dogs, and 1 cat set up in hotels for 2-7 nights 1/2

We're urgently trying to raise funds for our own place and distro with neighbors. We've ran through all of our supplies and funds over the last couple of days of hot weather. It's not getting any better any time soon. Please help if you can. $radicalcamping @ houseless-radicals-B

It's crazy that in all the discussions about the creep towards fascism people aren't bringing up how unhoused people are being criminalized. It is ILLEGAL for them to sit outside if they're not paying money to a landlord. Repeat that sentence and let the insanity sink in.
