Tonight at 6 30 BBC1. We are talking about the number of fast food restaurants and take aways. There is opposition to plans for another McDonalds in Hull, open 24 hours a day. Do you love them? want more ?or think we have more than enough. tweet me and watch for them on the TV

When I was growing up the best sitcoms were on the BBC. With one exception: ITV’s Rising Damp, brilliantly written by Eric Chappell & starring the talented Leonard Rossiter. It's 50 years since this Yorkshire Television gem first aired. Great theme tune, too, by Dennis Wilson.

The TV sit com Rising Damp is 50 years old this week. I watched two episodes through last night, pure genius. Made in Yorkshire by YTV and every episode written by Eric Chappell, born in Grantham and lived in Lincolnshire all his life.

Craig, I know you are angry, so are many, please let’s not be rude. Also full respect to Hamish Falconer MP for agreeing to come on and facing us to answer the questions.

Another huge response on Winter fuel allowance. This is the MP for Lincoln Hamish Falconer talking to me about why he voted for the cut.
