Notre Dame sophomore Jeremiyah Love ranks No. 5 in the FBS in yards per carry (7.97) among running backs who have at least 30 rushing attempts. Love is on pace for 1,116 rushing yards in a 12-game season despite only currently averaging between 11 and 12 carries per game. Stud.

Today, I obtained Douglas Southall Freeman’s 7-volume biography of George Washington. The first volume is signed. Inside the second volume, I found a letter from the first owners to Freeman, to which he responded. Really cool.
