We are so lucky to have Dads for the Day with us each Friday! Thank you to ALL the amazing dads (not all are pictured) who have come up and helped in classrooms, worked with small groups of students, and have just offered a lending hand with whatever task might come their way!

4th grade used geo sticks to begin their unit on polygons. They had so much fun learning and exploring how they can use terms like parallel lines and right angles to help them create polygons.

Welcome to PWE, Ms. Gill!! 🐾 Ashlin Gill is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University. This is her 13th year teaching & 10th year in RISD. She comes to us from Greenwood Hills & will be joining the Special Education team. She is a huge animal lover & avid reader. #PWEpanthers

Welcome to PWE, Ms. Zubia! Amanda Zubia is from El Paso. She graduated from UTEP & got her Master's from Grand Canyon University. This is her 12th year in education, & she's taught 4th-6th grade. Her son attends Richardson Heights & she can't wait to join RISD & PWE! #PWEpanthers

Welcome to PWE, Ms. Orozco! This is Elsa Orozco's 6th year in RISD & she also runs the xPlore program at another campus. She is an RISD grad, herself! She enjoys reading, crafting, shopping, or driving around town with her dog, Lola, in her free time. #PWEpanthers
