What a privilege & delight to have Jennifer Killick in school. QMGS Year 7 & QMGS Year 9 thoroughly enjoyed her talks & some students had the opportunity to plan their own creepy horror stories🕷️👹. The never-ending queue for book signing shows just how popular her books are!

Only 4 days after meeting Jennifer Killick and taking part in a writing workshop with her, Sam in QMGS Year 7 has written 5 chapters of his own Dread Wood story. The impact of an #author visit can be instant, profound and may even be life-changing! QMGS English here's chapter 1:

As we end this academic year, we celebrate the many academic and extracurricular achievements of Year 7. They have proved to be a credit to QM, and have continued to embody the opening line of our School Song - Floreat Reginae Schola Mariae. Best wishes for next year and beyond!
