We've all been saying this. Why chase another company's business model to the detriment/destruction of your own? People want seasons of TV. To tune in for characters they care about & stories that resonate in a world that has had years to deepen & grow. Companies need to listen

Voting has begun for WGAW Board of Directors, and I’m kindly asking for your vote. I’m running because I care deeply about writers and our union. I’m running because I have the experience, and am a problem-solver who isn’t afraid to do the work. Solidarity forever! Thank you

Totally agree… the current state of tv is a mess…. Get back to series that allowed the writers and characters to grow.. the audience to truly enjoy the story…

This is kinda what I was saying on Je-Ree Spaces earlier this week. I miss the traditional network formats. Bring them back and you will have a viewer in me. Doesn't necessarily have to be 22 episodes, but I'm not wasting my time with 6 episodes every two years. No.

The knowledge he's spitting applies to more than just tv. Companies are so greedy they all want to do everything to make the most money and it doesn't work. When I worked at T-Mobile the moment they started selling home internet as well, everything went to shit.

And I love that CBS hasn’t deviated too much from this model and it’s still stable for them. Chuck Lorre and CBS are giving you 22 episodes and a minimum of 5 seasons. Their audience is loyal! Then boom reruns on TV Land, TBS, and Nick at Night! Don’t mess with success.
