I think this may be the most poignant war memorial I’ve ever seen. #Liverpool - heart-breakingly beautiful. The hair, the costume, the bare-feet showing (I guess) city poverty. Also the Liverpool Pal’s headstone - links to our Perham Down trench dig on #salisburyplain #memorial
