Had the opporutnity to spend the evening with FCPSAdvancedAcademics alongside elementary and middle school educators in Gifted Learner 103: The Underachieving Gifted Learner. The expertise and ideas are are flowing. #FosteringForwardMomentum

Last submission for the Vanguard program! Past three years were such an experience to learn and grow. This experience spanned my exit from the classroom into a specialist role. It provided unique learning in different capacities. I will continue to learn, understand, and support.

What a great start to the year this week! Spent time at Caroll Manor (Kimberly Robertson); where the culture, atmosphere and pride could be felt! Then at Ballenger (Megan Stein) checking out the start of the year in classrooms. Finished the week with the full FCPSAdvancedAcademics team.

What a great day visiting Yellow Springs (Hannah Feldman)! Was great to get into classrooms, check in with staff, and hear some engaging math discussions. Loved the question posed to students, "why do we even do this?"

First visit at BES! It was exciting to get in and already see explicit teaching of vocabulary and using essential questions.
