Lots of folks have asked why House Speaker Schultz and Senate Pres. Adams write the ballot language. GOP legislators voted to change that earlier this year. Line 686 here: le.utah.gov/~2024/bills/st… Before that, the ballot questions were written by nonpartisan Lege attorneys.
