To day our CEO Aime Kayumba and EUCORD staff Guillaume Jarysta met Mayor Gicumbi District after joint Action Development Forum (JADF) and discuss about our work and our joint project #Kungahara which will implement in 3 district including Gicumbi District EUCORD

Yesterday our CEO Aime Kayumba met vice Mayor in charge of economic development Rutsiro District in joint Development Forum and get chance to have field visit where we are establish trees nurseries in partners with communities ,funded by #terrafund AFR100 World Resources Institute

To day our CEO and EUCORD Rwanda country representative we met Mayor Ruhango District after the launch of #Kungahara project funded EU Delegation to Rwanda

Today we welcomed CECI Canada volunteer Marlene Caplan to our team, which is laser focused on supporting smallholder farmers to achieve more secure livelihoods . We are sure her writing skills and creativity will help build our capacity to communicate our mission EUCORD

Last week We were honored to be invited by the Rwandan Ministry of Agriculture to contribute to the development of the new Strategic Plan for Agriculture Transformation (PSTA 5), focusing on climate-resilient agriculture an visit the Green Gicumbi Climate-Resilient Project.

Today RDI took part in the TerraFund Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV); a 3-day workshop, expecting to learn more on project , site, nursery & financial reports & collecting the geospatial polygons of our restoration areas #TerraFund for #AFR100 World Resources Institute

This week, we are participating in a 5 day training organized by Norwegian People's Aid Rwanda .The objectives of the training are to strengthen the ability of CSOs to effectively engage in decentralization reform processes and advocate for the interests of the people, among other goals.

Today, Plan International Rwanda signed partnership agreements with Rural Development Initiative(RDI) and Dream village organization, reaffirming our commitment to supporting youth through socio-economic development under the Skilling and Opportunities for Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship (SOYEE) Programme.

Last week, RDI, represented by our Founder & CEO Aime Kayumba, had a peer learning visit to Acadesmalawi in Malawi with the support of Segal Family Foundation Acadesmalawi is investing in thousands of youth and smallholder farmers in Malawi through the principles of cooperation.
