Further success at the Lancashire Schools Athletics last weekend included Sophia B (pictured) who won the 1500m, Oliver G - 2nd 1500m, Lana K - 3rd Shot Put and Niall E and Ellie Ainsworth who are top 10 in the county for 1500m and 200m respectively!!

Another huge well done to Sophia B who played for England against the Netherlands over the half-term. Amazing to see a pupil from St. Augustine's doing so well in the sporting arena

Next week we are looking forward to 2 of our girls' football teams playing in the Lancashire Cup finals at Darwen FC. U13s kick off at 5pm and U15s at 7:30pm. Tickets on the door £3 for adults, £1 for children ⚽️🏆

These girls can!! Last night the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley u13’s Girls Town team beat West Lancashire 4-2 on pens in the Lancs Cup final after a 4-4draw AET. Much of the district team is made up of our very own St Augustine’s girls. Well done ladies on a superb win!!! 🏆🥇⚽️

Great day on the 13th June despite the weather not being brilliant - Sports Day is one of the best days of the year and this year's event did not disappoint. Competitors and spectators were brilliant and in the end Barlow were the winning House 💛 thanks to Mr Mogg for this vid!!

Last week saw our Track & Field Athletics team come a very respectable 3rd place overall at Witton Park in the H & RV Championships. Particular highlights were our individual champions who came away with a District medal, some of whom you can see below! Well done everyone🥇

Well done to George! Now the schoolboy's U46kg Hull International Box Cup Champion. The Hull Box Cup is the biggest Olympic Style Boxing Tournament in England for Minors, Schools, Junior, Youth & Senior Boxers.

Amazing to hear that sisters Louisa and Helena Rishton have been selected for the British Schools Ski Squad for 2024/2025 representing SARCHs both indoor in the UK and Alpine in Italy in February. What an achievement!! ⛷️🇬🇧
