Not every day you get a retraction notice that specifies misconduct: "From this investigation, it was concluded that the data used to produce Supplementary Figure S10 were fabricated..." retractionwatch.com/2024/09/03/fak…

Still a bit unclear about how the misconduct affects the conclusions. "The investigation committee agreed that the data in Figure S10 are not critical to support the major claim of the manuscript and do not affect the overall scientific advance..."

On the other hand, why fabricate data unless you needed it? 🤷‍♂️
