My 211th Surrey VC17 bird in at #211 (Again... after losing the Repolls) are Sandwich Terns Tice’s Meadow Nature Reserve this evening. I know, I know I've just never managed to connect with the bloody things. Anywhoo on me list now. Also my 2nd Surrey Spotted Redshank. SurreyBirdClubNews

Help please, taken in the Algarve Portugal... I at first thought this was a Sardinian Warbler until I had a closer look and saw that it's eye ring is white not red. Can some one let me know what they think this bird is please?

I couldn't believe how many Yellow Wagtails were up at Staines res this morning... they were giving the Pied Wags a run for their money. Defo 15+ birds, they seemed to be flying around in several flocks of 5 or 6 birds. Joe

Walking the Hogsmill LNR's new wetland & heard a familiar ticking sound I turn around & not 5m away was this, feeding away as though I wasn't even there. I could not have been in a better place if I had setup a hide right there. I was so close I could even see it lick it's beak.
