Story continues- at the time of the damage I completed a claim form but heard nothing. Upon return to AZ in Feb. I provided more detail. No response. Sent follow up emails on Mar. 2 & 8. No response. More of the story to come. Please boycott Super Star Car Wash!!

The story continues. . . Look at my 2 previous tweets. Super Star Car Wash has a long ways to go in terms of customer service. I’ve been waiting now for over 3 months despite submitting a claim form (Nov 2022), providing more detail (Feb) and two follow up emails on Mar 2 & 8

The story continues. See my previous 3 tweets. After 3+ months of following up on a damage to my BMW with Super Star Car Wash I had the mirror replaced at a local BMW dealer. This replacement cost me more than $1000.00!! Please boycott Super Star Car Wash!!

My original reason for joining Twitter was to promote my metal art business and share some of the Remote Control fun I have with my grandson. I’m going back to that as I’m spending too much time reacting to BS and lies! Thanks to all who have been following me.

Have my Axial Wraith all ready for Spring. Added a larger roof rack with lights. Thanks to RC Hobbies for the help with wiring.

This is a pic of a completed 1/10 scale RC car. I have picked up a Tamiya 1/10 chassis and the clear 66 Mustang GT body. I need a steering servo and receiver which I hope to pick up locally. Next step is to paint the body and attach provided decals. I’ll post progress pics.

Similar to my tweet on Apr. 20 about the 66 Mustang GT RC body I’ve picked up a 1/10 scale VW Beetle body I’ll run on the same chassis. Not sure of paint colours yet. I’ll post progress pics. Clear body pic is the actual body. Others are of finished projects from the web.

This is a pic of a completed 1/10 scale RC car. I have picked up a Tamiya 1/10 chassis and 1/10 McAllister Racing Vintage Modified Coupe Body. Next step is to paint the body and attach provided decals. I’ll post progress pics.

Progress on the 66 Mustang GT RC body. Completed cutting and trimming to reveal wheel openings, front and rear bumpers/grille/lights. Drilled out the holes for body mounts. Next is paint and mounting on the chassis.

Spring has finally arrived so got going on preparing my RC Buggy for runs on the street and off-road. Pics are after it was ready to go. I’ll post a video of the Buggy - scary fast!

Splitty’s Handcrafts, Metal Art is offering a new product line - “Wall Mounted Lighting” The pictures are an indication of what is possible in terms of design. The end product will be a close collaboration between Splitty’s and our client in developing a final design.

Working on painting a ‘66 Mustang RC body. It will work with a 1/10 chassis I have that is ready to go with all needed electronics. The masking tape running the length of the body will be removed with the 2 stripes being painted white. The first pic is from the HPI Racing website

Just completed painting and adding decals to a 1/10 scale McAllister Racing Vintage Coupe RC body. The body will be used with my 1/10 scale Tamiya chassis. The chassis with electronics is versatile enough to be used with most any 1/10 scale body. Ready to run!!
