If you don’t travel by train a lot, you may not appreciate how often “just leave the end sticking out” is a thing, particularly at smaller stations on the ECML and in Scotland you are frequently advised to move up the train if you need to exit.

My team and I worked with Butch and Suni to finalize the config of the return cargo in Calypso this morning. This afternoon they will do a final check of the cabin and close the hatches between it and International Space Station. Still on track for undock and landing tomorrow evening.

An old boss of mine put it succinctly: if someone lobs a grenade at you over a wall, what do you do? Here endeth the lesson. I also recall a crash course in expectation management from a wiley old ops manager but that one’s for advanced practitioners.
