The Florida Parishes Arena has scheduled three “Ride Day” opportunities this month. Ride Days cost $5/horse brought to the facility. Ride Day openings will be on Wednesday, Sept. 4; Tuesday, Sept. 10; and Wednesday, Sept. 18. The Arena will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The National Weather Service says Tangipahoa Parish remains under a Flood Watch until 7 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, due to impacts from Hurricane Francine.

Good news! Our Tangipahoa Parish Landfill reopened at noon today and remain open until 4:30 p.m. today. The landfill will be open on Friday, Sept. 13, from 6:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Sept. 14, with extended hours from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
